Franco is an Italian born Canadian who has traveled the world and written books when he felt like. Claudia is a German born girl who has been an Italian for a long .. long time. We travel like you do: finding the right places on Internet and then book. We travel with Junior (the dog) and Teresa (the tiger) and we find it difficult to find places accepting pets. You will have no problem here at Ca' Momplin. Claudia is an expert horseback practitioner and a Tennis Player (although she has a tough time beating Franco) and Franco enjoys Paragliding and Windsurfing and plays Tennis as well. Mushroom hunting is his favorite in season.

As you get here, we will brief you on where we shop, eat and drink: small shops, open air markets, local restaurants and drink holes ... you get it, and then do what you feel like.

Junior: Born in Spain, moved to Ca Momplin from Barcelona in 2011, about 5 years old, slightly autistic (we think), kids and visitors friendly - especially if they trek with him - tends to jump on open trunks to go trekking with visitors, loves gourmet food, slightly jealous of Teresa … Speaks English (sit, don't jump on people, let's go) German (Sitz, Komm, don't jump on people), Patois ('nduma, let's go).

Teresa: Born in Monferrato Basso, Piedmont, Italy (we think), moved to Ca' Momplin in 2012, about 8 months old, very .. but very smart cat, friendly with everybody when she feels like, hunter of birds (to the dismay of Claudia) and of small rodents (to the dismay of Claudia), does not care if Junior's jealous, sleeps on Junior mats and eats Juniors biscuits (to the dismay of Junior) does not speak anything but "miaou" and "grrrr", which we believe to be cat speak.
